阿蘇くじゅう国立公園・久住山赤川登山口のすぐそば、標高1,100mの高原に位置する秘湯。 泉質は全国的にも珍しい含二酸化炭素・硫黄－カルシウム－硫酸塩冷鉱泉で、コバルトブルーやエメラルドグリーンに輝く湯が特徴。内湯と露天風呂があり、源泉かけ流しで湯の新鮮さを味わえる。 夏は滝の天然クーラーで涼しく、四季折々の自然美を堪能できる。
