阿蘇内牧温泉の静かな河畔に佇む老舗純和風旅館。 温泉は自家源泉を贅沢にかけ流し、いつでも新鮮な湯を楽しめる。 泉質は九州では珍しい硫酸塩泉で、翡翠色の湯は美肌効果が高く、慢性リウマチや神経痛、婦人科疾患などに効果が期待できる。 館内には大浴場、露天風呂、貸切露天風呂（屋根付き）、足湯があり、四季折々の庭園を眺めながらの入浴が魅力。
天然温泉大浴場、貸切り露天風呂(屋根付)、酒樽を使った半露天貸切風呂「たる湯」あり。公式お風呂ページにアメニティの明記なし。
