Baikoan is a day-trip hot spring facility in Shirahone Onsen, Matsumoto, Nagano. Guests can enjoy milky-white sulfur springs in open-air baths (one each for men and women). Hours are 10:00 to 18:00, and it is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (closed for winter from the end of November to the end of April). Admission is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for ages 0 through elementary school. The specialty is onsen rice porridge cooked with hot spring water (850 yen), and meals are served from 11:00 to 14:00.
