Colomode Guest House is an inn in Kitayama, Chino, located in the Kirigamine and Kurumayama Highlands at an elevation of 1,550 meters. From the windows you can see a garden of white birches whose appearance changes with each season. The bath is heated with firewood and warms you to the core. The dining room has a wood-burning stove, which is lit in every month except July and August. Around 20 kinds of wine selected by the staff are always available. Guests can stroll through the garden and along the walking trail behind the inn. In winter, snow activities such as cross-country skiing can also be enjoyed.
