長湯温泉エリアの川沿いにある混浴露天風呂「ガニ湯」です。蟹と美しい娘にまつわる伝説が残る温泉で、柵や囲いがない開放的な造りです。利用可能時間はいつでもですが、川の増水などにより利用できない場合があります。料金は無料です。豊後竹田駅から車で約25分です。泉質は炭酸水素塩泉です。脱衣は橋の下を利用します。自然の中にある温泉です。
