「川湯温泉の自分で掘る温泉」は和歌山県田辺市本宮町川湯にある日帰り温泉です。毎年3月から11月の間は、誰でも川原を掘って自分だけの温泉を作ることができます。JR新宮駅からは熊野御坊南海バスの本宮大社前行きに乗ります。JR紀伊田辺駅からは龍神バスの熊野本宮線で「川湯温泉」バス停まで行けます。泉質はナトリウム-炭酸水素塩・塩化物泉です。
