Echigo Urasa Onsen Magosuke-no-Yu

Echigo Urasa Onsen Magosuke-no-Yu is a foot bath in Minamiuonuma, Niigata. Its reddish-brown water reflects sunlight with a golden appearance and flows directly from the source. The spring is a sodium-calcium chloride-sulfate spring, with a source temperature of 43.7°C. It is used by local residents and nearby visitors, as well as people attending events such as the chrysanthemum festival. The baths also offer views of the Echigo Three Mountains. Hours are 8:00-22:00 and use is free. It is about a 9-minute walk from Urasa Station and about 7 minutes by car from Yairo Station.
