Edo Jowa Yoichi, located in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a super sento inside Spa Resort Hawaiians. It opened in 1997 and has an open-air bath that was recognized by Guinness World Records in month 7 of 1998. Its total area is 1000 square meters and it is divided into separate men's and women's sections. There are no washing stations in the indoor bath, as it is designed for experiencing an Edo-period atmosphere. Projection mapping is displayed on the shoji screens. Private use is limited to overnight guests, lasts 40 minutes from 23:30, and must be reserved at least 3 days in advance.
