Fudo Onsen is a day-trip hot spring in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. Located within the grounds of a temple, it retains the atmosphere of the Showa era. The spring water is a radioactive spring. Admission is 1,500 yen, and you can bathe as many times as you like during opening hours from 10:00 to 18:00. It is closed on Thursdays, but may be open during periods such as Golden Week. There is an on-site eatery serving shojin (Buddhist vegetarian) cuisine, and special radium sheets are lent free of charge.
