Fuku no Yu

Fuku no Yu is a combined spa and fitness facility in Oizumi-ji-cho, Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture. Spring quality is sodium-bicarbonate / chloride spring. The large bath area includes a plain hot water bath, relaxation bath, shaping-up bath, jet bath, lukewarm bath, and steam bath, while the outdoor area features a Shigaraki ware pot bath, a 'utatane' bath (dozing bath), a reclining spot, and a women-only high-concentration oxygen bath. The outdoor rock bath uses artificial hot spring water, which is changed regularly so each visit offers a different bath. The sauna adopts a wet style like the traditional Japanese kamaburo, set at 60-80 degrees C for a slow sweat. The 6 types of rock bath, organized by theme and effect, include a footbath, outdoor-air break area, and all-you-can-drink soft drinks, and combined with a machine gym and studio, the facility lets visitors spend a full day at ease.
