The day-trip hot spring facility "Aota Kenko Land" (Garyu Onsen) is located along National Route 13 in Aota, Yamagata, Yamagata Prefecture. There are two types of bathrooms, the rock bath and the Kannon bath, which are switched on the 1st and 16th of every month. The spring type is sodium sulfate spring, and the bath water temperature is about 44 degrees. It can be used from 6:00 to 21:00, with last admission at 20:30. The bathing fee is 450 yen for adults and 200 yen for elementary school students. Free wireless LAN is available in the rest room.
