Genjiko

Genjiko in Minamichita is a ryokan whose pride is its open-air baths overlooking Ise Bay. There is a cloud-top open-air bath on the 10th floor, and the private bath Ukifune on the 9th floor is also available (Usugumo on the 8th floor is closed due to an equipment failure). The spring type is sodium-calcium chloride strong saline spring. Experiences such as trying on an uchikake robe, tosenkyo fan-tossing and incense-listening classes are offered. A free shuttle bus runs from Kowa Station, and it is about 55 minutes by car from Nagoya. Day-trip use is also possible.
