Gifu-shi Mitahora Shinbutsu Onsen

Gifu-shi Mitahora Shinbutsu Onsen is a public bath in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture. After closing time every day, all of the hot spring water is drained and replaced with fresh water. Light meals are available in the Japanese-style room on the 1st floor, but eating and drinking are not allowed in the 2nd-floor Western-style room or the bath rest hall. The entire building is non-smoking, and free Wi-Fi is available. Towels, soap and other bath supplies are not provided, so bring your own, though they are also sold inside. Admission is 490 yen for general adults living in Gifu City and 620 yen for non-residents. Hours are 10:00 to 17:00 from March to October and 10:00 to 16:00 from November to February. The facility is closed on the 1st of every month, every Wednesday, and over the year-end and New Year holidays. By bus, take Gifu Bus Takatomi Line Route N to "Mitahora," then transfer to the Miwakko Bus and get off at "Mitahora Shinbutsu Onsen"; the facility is right at the stop.
