Hidamari no Yu in Takayama is a day-use hot spring using water welling up from 1000 meters underground. In addition to the hot spring, it has a restaurant, rest room, manga corner, and simple lodging rooms. Guests can enjoy free-flowing water directly from the source. Hours are 7:30–23:00, with last admission at 22:30. Admission is 1,150 yen for adults, 700 yen for junior high school students, and 600 yen for elementary school students and younger. Children under 4 are free. It is open all year, and the late-night bathing fee is 750 yen after 21.
