Hottarakashi Onsen is a natural hot spring in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The spring water is classified as alkaline simple thermal spring and sulfur spring, a strongly alkaline water with a pH of 10.1. There are two bathing areas, Acchi no Yu and Kocchi no Yu. On site you will find a log-house rest area, the restaurants Kimagureya and Momotaro, and a souvenir shop, Shinsen Yamanashi. Located on high ground overlooking the Kofu Basin, at night you can enjoy a starry sky along with the night view. Admission is 900 yen for adults and 400 yen for children, and the 280-space parking lot is free to use.
