Ichitaro no Yu is a day-trip hot spring in Akiu-machi, Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi. Opening hours are 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 17:30 on weekends and holidays (reception closes 1 hour before closing). Bathing fees are 900 yen for adults, 770 yen for junior high school students, 400 yen for children (age 4 to elementary school) and 200 yen for infants (age 1 to 3). A coupon book of 10 tickets costs 7,000 yen (valid for 1 year). It is closed on the third Friday of each month (except August and October), December 31 and January 1. There are two open-air baths, the First Open-Air Bath and the Second Open-Air Bath. The spring type is hypotonic, weakly alkaline, high-temperature spring (pH 7.7).
