Himawari no Yu is a day-trip facility in Shima, Mie that uses alkaline simple hot spring water (spring temperature 41.8 degrees, pH 8.6). The water is heated and supplied with a circulation filtration system. The large bath is about 200 square meters and is fully glass-walled, making it bright and open. There is also an open-air bath where you can watch the sunset, and a salt sauna. It is open from 9:00 to 23:00, with last admission at 22:00. Admission is 1,400 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children.
