Iwatake no Yu in Hakuba, Nagano is a super sento that uses water from Hakuba Himekawa Onsen. Its distinctive feature is almost colorless, transparent water containing salt and minerals similar to seawater. It has indoor baths and kuromoji saunas, separate for men and women. Entry is from 13:00 to 21:00 (last entry 20:30), and admission is 750 yen for adults and 400 yen for children aged 3 to under 12. The parking lot holds 50 vehicles and can accommodate large buses, and there is also a rest area. It is located about 200 meters from the gondola base station. Operation is divided into the green season (April 23 – November 15) and the winter season (mid-December – late March).
