Jappo no Yu is a public day-use hot spring bathhouse in Kawasaki, Miyagi. It is open from 7:00 to 21:00 (last admission 20:30). Bathing costs 400 yen for adults aged junior high school and older, 200 yen for elementary school children and is free for preschool children. Rest area use costs 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children, including the bathing fee. It is about 15 minutes by car from Miyagi-Kawasaki IC, about 50 minutes from Sendai-Miyagi IC and about 40 minutes from Yamagata-Zao IC; from JR Shiroishi-Zao Station, take a bus for about 60 minutes and get off at the Aone Onsen bus stop, about a 1-minute walk away.
