日本の名湯百選にも選ばれた菊池温泉にある老舗の純和風旅館。 館内は総檜造りで、中国風の装飾が特徴的。大浴場や開放的な庭園露天風呂、ジェットバス付きの大理石風呂など、多彩な浴槽で源泉100％かけ流しの「美肌の湯」を楽しめる。 泉質はアルカリ性単純温泉で、pH9.4、湯温48.2℃のとろみのある湯は、肌がしっとりすべすべになると評判。
客室設備として「ボディーソープ、リンス、シャンプー、ハミガキセット、カミソリ、ドライヤー、タオル、バスタオル、浴衣、作務衣」を明記。総檜造り客室の源泉掛け流し温泉あり。
