Kusatsu Onsen Gozanoyu is a day-trip hot spring near Yubatake in Kusatsu, Gunma. It is a wooden building that recreates architecture of the Edo to Meiji periods, featuring a cedar-shingle (tonton-buki) roof and plaster walls. You can enjoy two sources at once, the Yubatake source and the Bandai source, and compare how they feel on the skin in the two differently styled baths, "Ki no Yu" and "Ishi no Yu." A yukata rental service, "Yukata de Sanpo," is available. Opening hours are 7:00–21:00 from April 1 to November 30. From December 1 to March 31, hours are 8:00–21:00, and last entry is at 20:30. The spring type is sulfur spring.
