Marui Ryokan in Ryujin Village, Tanabe, Wakayama still carries on the inn opened by the previous owner in the second year of the Showa era (1927). The bath is built entirely of hinoki cypress. Dinner can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace in your guest room or a private room. Meals are made with river fish such as amago trout and ayu sweetfish, along with locally gathered mountain vegetables and produce. The inn is surrounded by the murmur of the Hidaka River and the green of the mountains. The spring type is sodium bicarbonate.
