Amanogawa Onsen is a hot spring facility in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture. The building makes extensive use of wood such as Yoshino cedar, hinoki cypress, pine, and maple. Koya maki is used for the bathtub, where the scent of wood can be noticed. The spring type is a bicarbonate spring containing a large amount of sodium bicarbonate. The water is heated by a firewood boiler that uses otherwise unused thinned wood. It is classified as a hot spring under the Hot Springs Act. The bathing room is filled with the scent of wood.
