Motoyu Ishiya in Fukaya, Kanazawa, Ishikawa, has continued as a long-established inn since its founding in 1789. It preserves the atmosphere of old Kanazawa, including a Noh stage built in 1917 and made entirely of Japanese cypress. The building is not wheelchair accessible, and the facility notes that humidity is high from the rainy season through mid-September. It has irregular holidays.
