This communal bath was excavated by students of Waseda University in 1948. Its yellow-plaster building stands in the hot-spring district. Opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with last admission at 9:00 p.m. It is open year-round, although hours may change during the New Year period. Admission is 660 yen for adults and 330 yen for children. The 50-minute private open-air bath costs an additional 1,100 yen and can be reserved by telephone. Body soap and shower facilities are also available.
