Nyuto Onsenkyo Tsurunoyu Onsen is a base for enjoying hot spring hopping in the mountain hot spring area of Semboku, Akita Prefecture. Day-use bathing starts at 9, and the facility has sulfur spring and sodium, chloride and hydrogen carbonate spring waters. The open-air bath is surrounded by nature. Access is about 10 minutes by car from Kawabe Station and about 11 minutes by car from Yoshizawa Station on the Yuri Kogen Railway. It is open year-round but has maintenance closures. It suits people who want to spend time focusing on the hot springs while enjoying the atmosphere of the inn and the quiet of the mountains.
