This free footbath is located in front of a railway station. The hot spring is said to have been discovered by a Buddhist monk. The water is an alkaline simple hot spring. A local tourism association installed the footbath in March 2008 when the station was renamed. It is open from 10:00 to 17:00, has no regular closing days, and is about a 1-minute walk from the station.
