Ohara Sanso is a day-trip hot spring in Ohara, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. In addition to the large public bath, there are family baths and private baths, and the tubs in the large public bath have handrails. Private baths cost 3,300 yen (tax included) per hour, with priority given to reservations. Small towels are sold for 150 yen, and bath towels can be rented for 120 yen. The bathing tax is 150 yen for junior high school students and older. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Ohara stop of Kyoto Bus, and after 15:00 a shuttle service is available from the bus stop. Free parking for 40 cars is available, with no reservation required.
