Oku Oe Yanagawa Onsen opened in 1995 at the foot of the Asahi Range in Oe, Yamagata. It has a drinking spring and a spacious footbath with a frog-family ornament. Its sulfur-bearing sodium sulfate and chloride spring is also called the Hot Spring of Heat. Lodging, day use, and therapeutic stays are available.
