Okuyagen Onsen Ganso Kappa no Yu is a day-trip hot spring in Mutsu, Aomori Prefecture. It is an open-air bath that can be used free of charge and is described as a hot spring full of natural charm. Men and women use it at alternating times. It is about 50 minutes by car from Shimokita Station and about a 3-minute walk from the Okuyagen Shukei Park rest house. Another way to get there is to take the bus bound for Sai from Mutsu Bus Terminal to Ohata Station, then a reservation-only demand taxi for about 30 minutes. There are no showers or indoor baths.
