Outdoor Lodge Shizen Kaikisen is a guesthouse (minshuku) on the Sugadaira Highlands in Ueda, Nagano. The bathroom uses a "weakly acidic skin-beautifying water" Science Spa, with equipment that keeps the pH between 3.1 and 4.0 and a zero-bacteria system that prevents bacteria such as Legionella from developing. In the shared space, guests can enjoy records on the sound system, and there is a wooden bar counter where draft beer is always served. A LAN connection is also available. In winter, you can go snow hiking on snowshoes, and lift tickets can be picked up at the lodge from 8:00 in the morning.
