Heianyu is a public bath in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. The high-temperature electric sauna has a TV, and is about 112 degrees in the men's bath and about 100 degrees in the women's bath. In addition to a cold-water bath using natural groundwater, there is a daily-changing medicinal bath that combines ultrasonic bubbles with a jet bath, and a natural mineral-stone bath. There are also a foot-reflexology bath, a tornado esthetic bath, an electric bath and a hot deep bath. It also has a manga corner with about 300 comic books, a drink corner and a local information corner. Opening hours are from 15:00 to 24:00, and it is closed on Thursdays. Admission is 550 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary school students and 100 yen for infants. Free parking for 4 to 5 cars is available a 1-minute walk from the bath.
