Kawara no Yu is a day-trip hot spring in Nakanojo, Gunma. It is a communal bath located near the confluence of the Shima River and the Shinyu River, at the foot of Hagi Bridge, close to the terminus of the local bus route heading to Shima Onsen. The exterior, interior walls and bathtub are made of stone, giving it the atmosphere of a cave bath. Above the bathhouse is a small park where you can cool off after bathing. Opening hours are 9:00 to 15:00, and it is open every day.
