Saio no Miya is a ryokan in Ise, Mie. Its theme is the court culture of the Saio, the imperial princesses who served Ise Jingu, and the Saigu, known as the phantom palace. All rooms have an open-air bath and a canopy bed, and a bedrock bath (ganbanyoku) is also available. The special room is 60 square meters and the Japanese-Western style room is 47 square meters. It is about 7 km from the nearest station, Kintetsu Ujiyamada Station, and a shuttle bus is available (reservation required). The address is Ikenoue, Sochi-cho, Ise.
