不知火海を望む水俣市の老舗温泉宿。 泉質はナトリウム-塩化物・炭酸水素塩泉で、重曹成分によるツルツル感と、ほんのり塩味のある湯が特徴。浴室は展望の良い内湯で、男湯は2階、女湯は1階にあり、どちらも源泉かけ流しの新鮮な温泉が楽しめる。 サウナは12名ほど入れる本格的な広さで、バイブラ付きの水風呂も併設。
