Sasakura Onsen Ryunso

Sasakura Onsen Ryunso is a ryokan in a satoyama area at the foot of Mount Yakeyama in Itoigawa, Niigata, overlooking terraced rice fields. It reopened its baths in 1926, and the spring is said to have first opened in the early Kyoho era. There are two sources, “Ryuun” and “Yakushi”, and the spring type is bicarbonate spring. There is an open-air bath. The lobby has a corner for drinking the spring water. Guest rooms come in three types: Premium Standard, Main Building Standard and Japanese-style. Free parking is available for 70 cars. Check-in is at 15:00, final check-in at 20:00, and check-out at 10:00.
