新町温泉は、名張市新町にある明治６年創業の銭湯です。井戸水を薪で焚いており、４代目の主人が風呂を沸かしています。脱衣場奥の中央には創業当初からの神様がまつられています。明治期の注意書きの木札や、魚を捕えたウの姿をあしらった下駄箱も残る浴場です。愛宕神社との縁があり、毎年の火祭りには松明用の割り木を奉納しています。サウナは火・土のみ稼働します。
