Shirarayu is a day-use hot spring facility in Shirahama Town, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture. The spring quality is sodium chloride spring. From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. it is reserved for Shirahama Town residents; it is open to everyone from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is 420 yen for adults, 140 yen for middle-category guests, and 80 yen for children. It is closed every Thursday. From JR Shirahama Station, it is about 15 minutes by bus to Shirarahama bus stop and then a short walk; it is about 15 minutes by car from the Kisei Expressway Nanki-Shirahama IC. Towels, shampoo, and similar items are available for a fee. Parking is available for 6 vehicles.
