Takarayu is a public bath in Kyoto. Its Western-style building is reminiscent of the Taisho era, and the carved characters "Takara Onsen" remain on the exterior wall. The bathing area has a deep bath, a shallow bath, an electric bath, a medicinal bath, a "human washing machine" bath, a cold-water bath and a sauna. It is located 10 minutes east along Route 35 after heading down Shidan Kaido. Opening hours are from 15:00 to 21:30, and it is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
