A municipally-operated day-use hot spring facility in Shimotakino, Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, known as Kato City Takino Koryo Hoyokan. A calcium-sodium chloride spring flows at 245 liters per minute from 1,300 meters underground, said to be of the same salt-spring family as Atami Onsen and Beppu Onsen. The bathhouse offers Yama-no-yu (Mountain Bath, named after Mt. Gobo) and Kawa-no-yu (River Bath, named after the scenic Toryu-nada rapids), which alternate weekly between men and women, with a yakatabune (roofed boat) sauna and a cave bath.
