Tsubakino is a ryokan made up of a purely Japanese-style main building that survived the fires of the North Tajima Earthquake in the 14th year of Taisho, and an annex with Japanese-Western rooms that have their own gardens. Private baths include the ceramic "Sarasa no Yu," the hinoki-scented "Kazahana no Yu," and "Silk no Yu." Meals are seasonal kaiseki courses using seafood landed at Tsuiyama Port, and the kaiseki plan featuring Tajima beef also includes tobanyaki (grilling on a ceramic plate).
