Kawara no Yu is a day-trip hot spring in Tsubame Onsen, Myoko, Niigata. The spring water is a sulfur spring. It is a mixed-gender open-air bath along a gorge, about a 15-minute walk from the Mt. Myoko / Tsubame Onsen trailhead. It is open from sunrise to sunset, and admission is free. It cannot be used on Monday and Friday mornings due to cleaning. The open season runs from July to November, and the bath can be used once the bridge has been put in place. It is 28 minutes by bus from Sekiyama Station on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway.
