由布岳の北麓・塚原高原に位置する、日本三大薬湯と称される強酸性泉の日帰り温泉施設。 泉質は酸性-含硫黄・鉄・アルミニウム-カルシウム-硫酸塩泉で、全国2位の強酸性（pH1.4前後）を誇る。 皮膚病やアトピー、切り傷、やけど、疲労回復などに高い効能があるといわれており、「薬湯」として古くから湯治客に親しまれている。
