Izutsuya

Izutsuya (Kasenkyo Izutsuya) is a ryokan in Shinonsen, Hyogo. It uses natural hot spring water from its own source. On the second basement floor there is a large bath built with big rocks, open from 12:00 until 9:00 the next morning, with men's and women's baths alternating. The water is colorless, transparent, tasteless and odorless, and weakly alkaline at pH 7.6. Because the source is over 90°C, well water is added, and the bath is managed with a circulating free-flowing system. There is also a sauna that guests enter wearing yukata.
