Waka no Yu is a public bath in Hon, Maizuru, Kyoto. It is open from 15:00 to 21:00 and closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Admission is 490 yen for adults, 150 yen for elementary school students, and 60 yen for infants. A hands-free set including a towel, shampoo, and soap is 550 yen. It is about a 10-minute walk from JR Nishi-Maizuru Station, and there is a parking lot for 6 cars across the street. It was founded in Meiji 36, the current building was built in Taisho 12, and in March 2018 it became a nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property. The bathroom walls feature sento paintings: the men’s bath shows “Mt. Fuji and Amanohashidate” and the women’s bath shows “Red Fuji”.
