天草西海岸・東シナ海を一望できるロケーションに建つ、家庭的な雰囲気の温泉宿。 800年の歴史を誇る下田温泉の源泉を、加水・加温・循環なしの100％かけ流しで提供しており、単純アルカリ泉は飲用も可能。体の芯から温まり、肌触りもやわらかいと評判。 大浴場にはサウナも併設され、貸切風呂も条件付きで利用可能。釣り好きの主人がその日に釣った魚や、天草産の新鮮な海の幸・山の幸を使った女将さんの手作り料理も人気。 イルカウォッチングやスキューバダイビング体験など、天草ならではのアクティビティも楽しめる。
