玖珠郡九重町の町田川沿いにある歴史ある混浴共同浴場。300年以上前、鹿が傷を癒していたのを猟師が発見したと伝わる天然温泉で、洞窟の中から湧き出る足元自噴の源泉が特徴。浴槽は洞窟をくり抜いた半露天で、川のせせらぎを聞きながらぬるめの湯（37～38℃）にゆっくり浸かることができる。浴槽の底から湧き出す新鮮な湯は、無色透明で柔らかく、長湯しても湯疲れしにくいのが魅力。脱衣所は男女共用で簡素な造り。地元の方が管理し、観光客にも開放されている。
