Echigo-Tanaka Onsen Shinanosou is an inn in the satoyama of Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, where the Chikuma River changes its name to the Shinano River. It is a member of the Japan Association of Secluded Hot Spring Inns, and you can view the garden from the small open-air bath supplied entirely by its own source. The spring is an alkaline simple hot spring with a pH of 9.2. It also serves country-style dishes made with local ingredients. Day-use bathing is available from 11:00 to 20:00, with last admission at 19:30, for 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children, including tax. It is closed every Tuesday, subject to change. It is about a 3-minute walk from Echigo-Tanaka Station.
客室共通アメニティ：浴衣・足袋・バスタオル・フェイスタオル・歯ブラシ・お茶セット。シャンプー・リンス・ボディーソープ・ドライヤーは大浴場に設置。特別室（百合）のみひげそり・くしの追加あり（他室は未確認）。
