市の原共同温泉

別府市新別府の住宅街にひっそりと佇む超レトロな共同浴場。 80年以上前から使われている御影石造りの浴槽が今も現役で、地元住民の生活の場として親しまれている。 泉質はナトリウム塩化物泉の源泉100％かけ流しで、循環や消毒は一切なし。浴室と脱衣所が一体となった素朴なつくりで、番台やロッカーもなく、料金箱に200円を入れて利用する。
