黒川温泉街から少し離れた渓流沿いに佇む老舗高級旅館。 最大の特徴は、天然の巨岩「びょうぶ岩」を望む絶景露天風呂をはじめ、7つの多彩な湯処。泉質は炭酸水素塩泉・硫酸塩泉・アルカリ性単純温泉などで、乳緑色のにごり湯が美肌や冷え性、神経痛、筋肉痛などに効果をあるといわれている。大浴場には低温サウナも完備。
